Everything about checking and reporting online scams.
How do I check if a website is a scam?
Type the domain, social handle or crypto wallet address into the FraudScan search box. If it has been reported you will see its risk score, warning signs, origin details and screenshots. If it is not listed, stay cautious and verify the site independently before sending money.
Is FraudScan free to use?
Yes. Searching the database and reading any report is completely free. FraudScan is a community-driven fraud awareness database.
How do I report a scam?
Open the Report page, enter the website, social account or wallet address, describe what happened and attach a screenshot as evidence. Moderators review every submission before it is published.
What does the FraudScan risk score mean?
The risk score (0–100) reflects how dangerous an entity is, based on the number of reports, the strength of the evidence and signals such as domain age and anonymity. A score of 80 or more means high risk.
A record about my business is wrong — can it be removed?
Yes. Every listing has a right of reply. Contact us and we will investigate, correct or remove inaccurate entries.
